Please join us for a free workshop on staying healthy with Diabetes presented in Mandarin, On October 27th Tuesday from 2.00-4.00 pm at the Aaniin Community Centre.

The workshop will be presented by a Certified Diabetes Educator nurse and dietitian. They will discuss how to lower your risk of developing diabetes and how to manage your diabetes through healthy eating, physical activity, medication and stress relief.

This workshop is presented by the staff of Markham Stouffville Hospital‘s Adult Diabetes Education Centre.

Evergreen's Coping with the Holidays After the Death of a Loved One

The end of the year is filled with holiday celebrations, which can be especially difficult to navigate when you are grieving. Please join Evergreen Hospice for their Coping with the Holidays session to learn strategies for navigating the holiday season while grieving.
Together, we will light a candle in memory of those we are missing and discuss techniques and tools to help us cope with the holidays while remembering a loved one.
