Swimming Pool
The Olympic size 50 metre swimming pool allows for 10 lanes of competitive swimming. At 2.5 metres deep, the pool is also suitable for synchronized swimming and water polo events.
With a moveable floor and configurable bulkheads, the pool’s dimensions can be setup to meet various sport requirements and allows for a multi-use configuration.
The cooler 26 C (79 F) temperature of the pool is based on FINA standards.
Gymnasiums
With over 36,000 sq ft (3,344 sq m) of floor space, the gymnasium includes 15 badminton, 7 volleyball, and 3 basketball courts.
With 41 ft (12.5 m) ceilings, the facility meets International competition standards for volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics and other sports.
A warm-up hall adjacent to the main gymnasium features an additional 3 badminton courts, 1 volleyball and 1 basketball court.
Audio/Visual Rooms
The venue also offers a wide variety of meeting rooms with state of the art audio/visual equipment, making it ideal for video analysis of athlete performances and training.
As well, the rooms can be used for logistics purposes by event organizers and officials throughout the course of an event.
Fitness Centre
The onsite Happy Life Fitness Centre provides an excellent selection of fitness equipment for both cardiovascular and strength training workouts.
The Fitness Centre is a two-level 464.5 sq. m. (5,000 sq. ft.) space with strength & conditioning equipment on the ground level and cardio equipment on the second level.

Since opening in 2014, we have hosted 1.6 million visitors to 500 events, including four 2015 Pan Am and ParaPan Am events, an Olympic Table Tennis Qualifying event as well as several International, National, Provincial and local championships. In 2019, the City of Markham was recognized as 5th in Canada for hosting events.
